Top 5 Paid Games in the US Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the performance of the top five paid games on a unified platform in the United States displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these metrics.

Geometry Dash Lite from RobTop Games AB saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 216K in mid-September. Weekly revenue showed a steady increase, reaching around $24.7K by the end of September. Active users, however, experienced a gradual decline from about 5.3M in late June to 4.1M by the end of the quarter.

Minecraft by Mojang maintained strong weekly revenue throughout Q3, starting at nearly $1.9M and ending at approximately $1.1M. Weekly downloads saw a downward trend, decreasing from around 88K in late June to about 59K by the end of September. Active users also declined, from 18M in late June to around 12M by the end of the quarter.

Cut the Rope by ZeptoLab UK Limited experienced a noticeable drop in weekly downloads, starting at about 51K in late June and ending at approximately 43K in late September. Revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at $8.6K in the last week of September. Active users showed a similar trend, decreasing from around 148K in late June to about 119K by the end of the quarter.

Solitaire from MobilityWare had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, hovering around 40K to 64K throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a gradual increase, reaching around $10.1K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter at about 4.2M.

My Child Lebensborn by Sarepta Studio AS experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 68K in early July and dropping to about 6.3K by the end of September. Revenue also declined significantly, from approximately $575K in early July to just over $500 by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from about 64K in early July to 10K by the end of September.
